DESCRIPTION
On the top floor of an old building at the end of a cobbled alley in Kyoto lies the Kokoro Clinic for the Soul. Only a select few - those who feel genuine emotional pain - can find it.
The mysterious centre offers a unique treatment for its troubled patients: it prescribes cats as medication.
MY REVIEW
I was very kindly gifted a copy of this adorable read from Doubleday and was over the moon to receive this!
Firstly, we have cats and japan. Two of the best things.
We follow the lives of multiple characters throughout the book that each have their own struggles. They are given a referral from friends about this special clinic, not knowing what it will entail (no pun intended)
Stepping into the clinic, they will discover that they will be prescribed a cat and we follow along the journey to see if things work out for each individual. Some aren't cat lovers, some are, some are faced with previous heartbreak, challenges and memories.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend this for a cosy evening. Curl up with a cosy blanket and be taken through this story with such adorable characters.
This will make you laugh, but also make you cry. I found myself sobbing at this read!
